Specifications and Requirements for Contract Decorator

What is contract decorator pricing? We can provide large discounts to customers looking to wholesale our products. These customer have been vetted and qualified by us directly as noncompeting, wholesale garment embellishment providers, and are using our services for that purpose. This pricing is only available to those customers, exclusively.
Who can use our contract decorator pricing? In some case, we may require a minimum commitment contract from your company, but typically, either party may terminate the contract at any time. All customers, however, are required to sign a purchase and usage statement specifying that any decorated items are meant for direct resale.
What are the project requirements to be considered contract? Each project must meet the following guideline in order to receive contract pricing. Typically, decorators provide their own garments for decoration. These garments must meet our project guidelines and limitations as follows:
- CUSTOMER PROVIDED GARMENTS: We will gladly print your customer provided garments provided the following:
- The garments are NEW, NEVER WORN, and provided by a AUTHORIZED GARMENT DISTRIBUTOR.
- They are of print quality and free from excessive lint, pills, fuzz, pet hair, etc. (ALL TAGS AND STICKERS SHOULD BE REMOVED)
- 2% damage or spoilage allowance applied so customer should provide for misprint replacements.
- Misprinted garments will not be replaced, however, ICS Inks reserves the right to discount or waive printing or sewing cost as an applicable recourse.
Minimums: Orders below listed minimums will be billed at standard rate. Quantities for pricing purposes determined by number of pieces per design. Flats items and hats cannot be combined for quantity.
Color Matching: No colors shown on mock-ups, logos, artwork, or the like should be considered color matched to a Pantone (PMS) color.
Screen Printing:
Minimum: 18 per design (Decoration of less may be allowed at a higher premium rate.)
Turnaround Time: 10-15 Business Days – (10 Business Days from Garment Arrival)
Artwork Requirements: All artwork must be –
- Sized for print
- Vector or 300dpi raster with RGB color
- Saved as a .png .ai, .eps, .pdf, or.cdr formats on a transparent background.
- Have converted fonts to outlines or curves.
Dark Garments Flashing: All dark garments will require a second color for the flash. As such, please price the next color column for all dark garments.
Rush Service: 3 day Service add 30%.

Screen Setup: $20 per color on all contract print orders.
Basic Artwork Setup: $15 to setup all non-print ready artwork.
Advanced Artwork Setup: $60\hour for additional art design, setup, and format artwork. (30 minute minimum)
Color Changes will incur a $5 per screen per color change.
PMS Color Matching: $10.00

Minimum: 12 per design

Digitizing Charges:
- Custom lettering will incur a minimum one-time charge of $15.
- Custom logos will incur a one-time charge of $35.
NOTE: While we can use customer provided digitized files, we are not responsible for the quality of embroidery from files not digitized by our company.
Rush Service: 5-day Service add 30%.
For the purpose of pricing, stitch count is rounded up to the nearest 1000 stitches. For example: 4500 stitches would be priced at 5000 stitches.

DTG – Direct to Garment:
Minimum: 12 per design
Turnaround Time: 5-8 Business Days.
Fabric\Garment Requirements: 100% cotton shirts recommended. Blends and Tri-blends may yield less vibrant colors.
Artwork Requirements: All artwork must be –
- Sized for print

How to Determine Pricing –
Step 1: Calculate Size Category using sizing key below. This category is based on the total number of Square inches (sq\in) the design covers. For example, if the design is 12″ wide and 5″ total, the total sq\in would be 60 (12 x 5 = 60). Therefore, using the chart, the size category would be 2 – Medium.

Step 2: Determine type of printing. This is type of printing based on the fabric and design color requirements. These fall into three different types.
- Color Only – No White Ink –These would include Light colored garments where white does not need printed.
- Color with White Ink –These would include Medium and Dark colored garments where white does need printed

Setup Charges: $30.
Sewn In Hem and Neck Tags – These are woven tags. Neck tags are commonly about 1″ wide x 2″ tall. We remove the existing and affix the new tag in the sew of the neck collar. Hem tags are commonly about 1″ x 1″, which, when center-folded makes the total size of the label 1″ x 2”. We can attach hem tags in a few locations including the bottom of the shirt, sleeve, or on the outer or inner seam.

Custom Printed Neck Tags – With your custom logo, we can remove the shirt tag and screen print or heat press your brand tag inside the neck. This tag would include the brand logo, website, washing instructions and any federally required production information. All printed tags are required to list Country of Origin and Fabric.
